At R.G. Public School, we follow a structured Examination & Assessment System designed to evaluate students’ academic progress and overall development. Our examination pattern aligns with the guidelines of NCERT, ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment of knowledge, skills, and application.

Examination Structure

Our school conducts assessments through a combination of:
✅ Formative Assessments (FA) – Regular class tests, assignments, quizzes, and projects.
✅ Summative Assessments (SA) – Term-end and annual examinations to evaluate overall performance.
✅ Practical & Internal Assessments – Conducted for Science, Computer Science, and other skill-based subjects.
✅ Co-Curricular Evaluation – Includes participation in sports, arts, and extracurricular activities.

Exam Schedule

📌 FA-1: Conducted at second week of June.
📌 FA-2: Held in last wek of AUGUST.
📌 SA-1: Conducted in last week of SEPTEMBER.

📌 FA-3: Conducted at last week of NOVEMBER.
📌 FA-4: Held in last week of JANUARY.

📌 SA-2: As per the schedule of depertment of education.

📌 Pre-Board Examinations : Held before final board exams for practice.
📌 Board Examinations: Conducted as per State Board guidelines.

Examination Rules & Guidelines

📌 Attendance is mandatory during exams. No re-examination will be conducted except for valid medical reasons.

📌 NO DUES:  Parents must clear all the pending dues of their ward before examination.
📌 Unfair means (cheating) will result in strict disciplinary action.
📌 Report cards are issued after each term to update parents on student progress.
📌 Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM) are conducted after each assessment to discuss student performance.

Promotion Policy

✔ Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to be promoted to the next class.
✔ Continuous assessment and class participation are considered in the final evaluation.
✔ Special remedial classes are provided for students needing academic support.
